A couple of years ago, I finally tackled the one closet in my house I’d been avoiding since the day I moved in, a fairly deep but awkwardly shaped primary closet with a single center rod, a shelf running along the top, and absolutely no other organizational system
When I bought my house, the kitchen window was one of the most underwhelming elements in the entire room, a plain, single-pane window with old, yellowed mini blinds that had clearly been there since the house’s original construction decades earlier. It let in light, technically, but the whole
When I moved into my current apartment a few years back, the balcony was, without exaggeration, being used entirely as storage for a broken bike and a couple of boxes I hadn’t gotten around to unpacking. It measured barely five feet by eight feet, and for the first
